Monoclonal antibodies Antibodies can be raised against customer-supplied antigens or synthesised peptides on demand. Custom monoclonal antibody production at SwedClone normally takes 4-6 months depending upon the immunogenic response to the antigen, and is divided into 3 phases (see table below). Customers have the option of halting the hybridoma production prior to the beginning of the next phase. Before proceeding to the next phase of the project, SwedClone will require a written confirmation (e-mail) from the customer. The amount of material needed for immunizations of 4 mice is 1 mg to 1.5 mg and an additional 0.8 mg to 1 mg is needed for ELISA screening. SwedClone also provide synthesis of peptides on demand (read more under Peptide Synthesis), and offer antigen design assistance at no additional charge. SwedClone offers labelling of primary antibodies with HRP, Biotin, FITC as well as frequently used fluorescent dyes.
